Recommended by the Wall Street Journal Online’s ‘Book Lover’ Cynthia Crossen, the ABC Book Review Podcast has enjoyed much success since it’s inception in 2007. Hosts Beth Hatch and Cari Dubiel began the podcast while they were both reference librarians as a way to have discussions about books and share them with a larger audience online. They both have a passion for reading and reader’s advisory. Since then, both librarians moved up in the public library world: Cari is now the Computer Services Manager for Twinsburg Public Library and Beth is the Virtual Services Manager for Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library. Though they both migrated their professions to include technology, their love of books has never wavered. Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is pleased to promote the ABC Book Review Podcast for your listening pleasure.
The latest episode, Beth and Cari talk about the best – and worst — books of 2012, as well as quite a few others. A link to the books in the catalog is listed below. Visit http://www.abcbookreview.com or search for their podcast on iTunes.
